Hello all,
I didn't really know where to put this, but I was wondering if it would be beneficial at all to put together a social media team in order to attract more modders to the project. Having a presence on social media sites such as Twitter/Facebook/Reddit/Digg/etc. may be extremely beneficial in bringing some more talent along and most likely attract more general attention as well. Or this may just be my desperate plea to help with Skywind since I can't mod to save my life.
Anyways, any thoughts on the matter?

Yes I truly suggest that. English is a very good languege for large masses. But I do have to admit Russian is to.
originally i was the PR guy but if you want to set up a team that's fine with me though you need to check the Bethesda presence on some of the sites as that can be counterproductive but PR team does sound better so go for it but just check in with me once in a while please because the last thing this project needs is a bush fire of Bethesda eviction notices :P
Alrighty, I was thinking that Twitter would be the best medium, given that people could easily share it regardless of language. A tweet every so often with a screenshot or quote could potentially do wonders for the project. VK.com could be great, but I'd imagine that most potential coders would be able to speak English- could we replicate this in a facebook page?
As I've said, social media may be fantastic for drawing attention to the project. Is anyone who's particularly good at English Language want to help out? Here are the few English-Language social media hubs at the moment:

I'm a high-school English teacher, I lack any potential at modding, but do tend to spend hours trolling the internet. I would be more than happy to set us up on some English social media sites if there is consensus with that.

perhaps we could contact skyrimnexus, and possibly put together a "coming soon" media package, complete with:
a description of the project
beautiful screenshots
a professional "trailer" on youtube
i dont think nexus will alow this project and latly the gotten really annoying whit kicking mods of there site
Skywind is a big no-no on Nexus (see morroblivion history with officials bethesda forums and nexus).
I'm still surprised Gopher got away with posting his video on the nexus a while ago.

Perhaps we could begin with a Facebook page and a Twitter and have a few people updating it from time to time? For social media publicity it's nice to have a small group posting things consistently. Mycorn, feel free to set up some social media; I could also do so if need be. Either way, I'd love to contribute to spreading awareness. :)
EDIT: If we were to have a Twitter, would everyone prefer the username to be 'Morroblivion' or 'Skywind'? It may be beneficial to have Morroblivion as the name as people are more familiar with it, though Skywind's the current project, so it'd make sense as well. Perhaps 'Morroblivion' could be the username and 'Skywind' could be the nickname?
If you do that, call it Skywind. That is what most of the updates will be about.

Once we have an established social media platform I also think that it'd be a great idea to have a Reddit AMA involving all of the leaderish people on the team, though I could discuss this on the Skype chat when the time seems right. :)
What about an account on Facebook, Tout, Myspace, Friendster, Eharmony, Craigslist, Redtube, Classmates, Adult Friend Finder, Writeaprisoner, Google+, Geocities, and Angelfire?!

Pete Hines actually posted here several months ago to help clear up confusion. It is official Bethesda policy to not allow the porting of assets. I don't remember exactly where that post is though. You can interpret it however you want.
Is it possible to get the Facebook and Twitter links placed on the front page of the website- something like 'follow us on twitter/like us on facebook'? While this wouldn't bring in any new traffic, it may increase our social media presence, which would in turn increase traffic to the website.

nexus would be cool because i am sure it wil land in the top 10 mods there but it got super big chance of being kickt from there maby somthing to put up there when more ore less finisht and see howe long it take to get deleted
