As you walk through the streets of Whiterun towards the Companions Hall, time to collect for your previous job, you hear an ominous voice "Hero I need your help go, look behind a rock at the Gildergreen Tree Find My Book!" You look around for the source of the voice but no one else seemed to notice it, How can that be it was so loud? curiosity gets the best of you the companions would have to wait, you head towards the tree, when you get there you spot a larger rock with some moss covering it, it sticks out that must be it, as you near you can clearly see the book tucked behind the rock. When you go to pick up the book a note falls out of the front cover, you put the book aside and read the note "I need a champion, someone with heroic blood, read my book champion and it will take you to the 3rd era to Morrowind. Do not worry about your life here simply read the book again and you can travel back and no time will have passed. Go now my Champion" What the hell is this? How did no one else find this book here?, you pick up the book. This is a Black Book but there is a moon and star burned onto the front, it reads The Nerevarine underneath, I thought these were Hermaus Moras Books why is there Azuras Symbols on it, you open the book as more questions fill your head, why is no one paying attention? A sharp noise jerks you out of your contemplation, your vision starts to blur you see black tentacles reaching out of the book, you try to push the book away but its no use, as your vision fades to black all you can think is why does this crazy stuff always happen to me?

As the blackness fades all you can see is swirls of red and flashing images, and that same voice from earlier, what is this a dream, a vision maybe? :insert Morrowind Intro:

You Hear a voice,"wake up, wake up, there you go, you were dreaming."
and there you have it Morrowind, Then just put a black book or 2 into the players inventory to be able to travel back and forth, Can do the same if you start in Morrowind Just have the book from Talos asking for your help instead of Azura.

I think getting the time to stop in Skyrim while you're in morrowind will probably be difficult.
By the way, even outside this mod, I don't know if it is possible to change the calendar time in Skywind. I don't care much but I think people might be confused to see the 4th era date when playing a game set in the 3rd era.
delete the calender date than i never pay attention to it any way i think most can figure out it isnt the same era u only work whit hours any way
also my house /palace the place where i stash my stuf is always skyrim so i would need some way to travel between them ore some 1 need to be really bordt and do me a custom player house in skywind and oblivion
Yeah, purchasable housing would be amazing. I would volunteer myself to do it but my computer is trash and I've gotten myself into some voice acting.
wel when u do a new game u just have the choose to start in skywind
but traveling from skyrim to skywind would be also need it dont really care howe and i think most got that
I think we should have two Skywind quests when it's fully released. One with Morrowind's original story (which is obviously going to be released first) and the other with an enhanced story. The people get to chose whether they want the original or enhanced one when they install the mod (which I think should have an installer instead of being manual, but that's not our subject). I have an idea for the enhanced one, but I have to go through some gaps first. :P
For the original story, I was thinking that a good lore-friendly that wouldn't break immersion would be to have a seemingly small quest to explore some cave, or house, or something, and then you find an Elder Scroll. As you read it, you're teleported to the ship from Morrowind, having been sent into the memories of the Nerevarine.

There's a mod that changes the day and month to real life equivalents here so I wonder if the year is possible? There's also a script that can change the date when fast travelling here so using the examples could something like game year.setvalue(currentyear-200) be used?@gidz89 good point. Needs investigating.
Mmm, I made two map marker to travel between the two worlds, and in the ck there is a "script" tab, maybe this will do it...
OR! A rumor about Solitude providing ships that take you to Morrowind, maybe even connect Morrowind with the existing Solsthiem from Dragonborn
connecting morrowind to solstheim could be possible!
this guy did that!
