Here are my auditions for an Irish sounding Breton. Didn't go too overboard with the intonations, but they get progressively higher and faster, as well as switching from east coast to west coast accents.

The quality on number 4 leaves something to be desired (even more than the others, some quality was lost converting WAV to MP3), for some reason there as more background scuffling. But I can try different lines, or re-records should you be interested.

The acting and the accent is fine, but try again when you get the new mic. At this point quality is sort of a must, and I recommend checking out Audacity to clean your audio up until you get your new mic.

I offer my two sets of the example dialogue given above. I feel that the Bretons are a patchwork of kingdoms each with different accents to go along with them so I tried Northern English and Standard Irish accents.

This is my first time doing this, so I'd love some feedback. Is there enough energy? Is the sound quality too poor? Are the accents too fake-sounding?

Hi! I tried to turn in an audition back in February, but the forum wouldn't let me leave comments, so hoping this works. Here's my audition for a Welsh-style Breton, which is basically just my regular voice. (I can totally Valleys it up and sound like one of the ladies in "Pride" if called on to do so, but it seemed a bit like overkill for Tamriel. ;) ) I'm on a Blue Yeti, there's some Fallout stuff for Interesting NPCs you can see to get what it sounds like in-game. Edit: Forgot to take one of the takes out of the middle of the file, replacing--fingers crossed again! Cheers. :)
