Ok so finally picked up this dusted model and decided to finish it, among other things I figured out symmetry was poking my eyes so I added just a little bit of asymmetry.
lol...breath...inhale and exhale, your mind is calm and nothing can effect you...
Actually Ravanna did some Dunmer mummies (burnt corpses) and they are very similar to your concept. Make sure tocheck them out, because he probably already has them boned?
that can be added with ease later on. Bones or nails, or extended existing bones, or all of that. I need a clean model first tho, so we can even have both.
Yours_Truly: this model of Kura is not right as a whole (no way it could have such skin and bloody wounds after hundreds of years) but it have one good detail: loincloth. Barbie-Ken anatomy looks very pity.
Barbie-Ken anatomy makes perfect sense in here, genitals would've been removed during corpse preparation, unless it was done by Falanu Hlaalu. All I'd do is add a big sewn scar in place of it, to show that they were removed instead of looking like they weren't there in the first place.
And not all bonewalkers would be hundreds of years old. Their muscles would be preserved with magic and alchemy, so they might even keep the colour (if you look at Kura's muscle wounds they're not exactly fresh blood red).
completely hollow hips/belly is even better than sewn scar, but loincloth is simplest.
hwvr on this state Nandi's model have no skin - my comment was only for Kura's model.
Awesome work as always Nandi. It's definitely gross enough to fulfill my zombie fixation. I heap upon you praise most bountiful. I hope you are also doing the the Greater Bonewalker.
Nice! Finally had the organs removed :D I think adding some smaller detail is now in place - stiches to close the belly opening, bones sticking out for mounting of the joints, maybe Daedric Runes carved directly into its skull?
Is there a reason why he lost his elf ears? I see in some of the older models that there was a subtle point to the ears, but it's very easy to miss on the textured version. Exaggerating the ears might help alleviate some of these draugr comparisons as well.
That's absolutely beautiful. I don't know if you're looking for suggestions at this stage, but you could make it a bit more uh, fucked up. The original Morrowind model looks like a clown in comparison:
Which is a good thing, obviously, though having a few extra bones and nails sticking out wouldn't hurt (no pun intended). His teeth, to me, look too much like they'd come from an android. Perhaps he should lose some?
And now I think of it, where the hell have the female Bonewalkers been?
lool darknuts high rez texture pack now that takes me back the reson for the fkd up look on the originals is because they were badly done if we were going for orginal it would end up like this
i would say that there needs to be more pinning in him on the bones and a few more breaks in the bones but im pretty sure ur leaving that till last looks great nandi keep it up
Nandi mentioned previously in this thread that extra bones can easily be added later on.
This looks like it really took some work Nandi, I'm happy to say that its paying off! Can't wait to see this in game.
On a sidenote, if you need any feedback, Rav I'd usually on Skype :)
And some first ideas_shop how to make it way hardcore.

UPDT: severe and middle variants
ah my nemesis <3

Haha hey Grumpy :) Skeleton over which I have sculpted is Rav`s, I will check to see how close they look.
Bone will look more fleshy tho, once I get into HD and color, soon
I thought Kurasaki made these...
Here is an example of the burnt corpses, bit hard to see because so dark
I think it all looks good... I'll admit, though, I'll miss the whole "broken bones sticking out of flesh" motif if that aspect is lost.. :/

Kura`s model can be bonewalker shaman, I will add loincloth for sure.

Sweeeeeet, Nandi!
Can't wait to see that model with textures in game :D great work on shape & details

Thanks guys <3

hi Nandi, it is awesome! please add stems for transitions from meat to bone
Wow, cool work Nandi, keep it up!
Really cool. Put on it dirt a bit and it would be perfect

high five bros

I messing with colors and textures a bit, I will add big stitch across belly for sure.
Some discoloration on rest of muscles like on the head would be cool too, I think
This looks 50 shades of scary! Definitely getting a Nemesis from Resident Evil vibe...
Why is drauger overrated? My work reminds you of something overrated? I am following concept of our many artists - my concept. And who`s WE?
Draugrs are piece of arts, probably some of the best creatures made for Skyrim. That said the bonewalker differs from that ALOT, and that's good.
The quality level here is great, none the less, Nandi keep it up !
they rotted.
I will add ears back, a lot of people want them back. (It had long ears on first shot, I later made them rotten)
just nice. :)
Excellent Bonewalker! This thread just makes me regret the absence of dismemberment system once again.
His dental hygiene is surprisingly good, I must get his floss brand :P
Nice work on the muscles those are always a pain in the ass to get down right imo.
Hey guys sorry I was away, had big troubles with PC over 4-5 months of pc service ended up buying new machine...

so anways Im back and texturing
Good to see you back in action Nandi! Looks great.
Welcome back. IMO you can experiment with more darker+desaturated color of skin.
Actually it can look good even with color of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bog_body
Such as https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Old_Croghan_Man.jpg
Or https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Old_Croughan_Man_han...
Only mummy from dry climate can have natural color of skin:

Very nice and jerky.
I think you could knock him some teeth out to make he/it way more repulsive.
Are its' eyes sewn or what?
