Morrowind Acoustic Overhaul
Hello! I just realised that this website might be a good place to discuss a mod that I and Logitech are working on.

I dont know if you Morroblivion guys are aware of vanilla MW sound system but let me tell you that there is quite a improvement ;)
I dont know if this could be ported to Morroblivion but maybe you are interested anyway.
Let me know if that interests anyone here and I will give more informations about this.

I'll definitely be using it in my Morrowind install
As for the possibility of porting to Morroblivion, it depends on mod's inner working, but I think it would be at least partly possible (environmental sounds part)
