Hello, i am William, i am a huge Elder scrolls fan and i have high thoughts and hopes for the TES renewal project, and hope that i could contribute to this project in one way or another, and i know that you have people that are working on the music for Skywind that are more qualified of the orchestral scores, but perhaps some of my sound design and synthesist/ambience capabilites can be of some use.
I am a Keyboardplayer from Norway that studies Rythmical music at the university of Agder. I have an interest in sound synthesis and sound design and mostly use Hardware synthesizers for sound creation. I use various forms of sound synthesis methods varying from PCM based sample synthesis, FM synthesis, Additive synthesis and analog subtractive synthesis. I mostly create my own sounds, i am expecially fond of Additive synthesis and i use a Kawai K5000s advanced additive synth for this use.
As a musician i am mostly an improvisor and i can therefor rapidly create new tracks of several forms as i can take basis in a short melody/theme inside a scale and improvise around it. If there is need for a ambient track, i can rapidly make it on command.
Here is an example of a Skyrim inspired track that i made, which was partly inspired by the dungeon music in the game: https://soundcloud.com/snuppeluppen/the-well
some other tracks that were not directly inspired by Jeremy Soule but are examples of what i do: https://soundcloud.com/snuppeluppen/hadalpelagic-zone and https://soundcloud.com/snuppeluppen/when-the-rain-starts-to-...
Cheers.
William Paasche
