It's not impossible, but it would require you to start from scratch and essentially guess on landmass and such. It would probably take 10 times longer to get anywhere with it than Skywind has, simply because of that factor.
We could just take the assets through skyrimify.exe and run the scripts through the ReDo compiler, then use the AddRealisticDetail and AddHDTextures filters in 5DSMax to make it better. Shouldn't be much more than a day's work tbh
None of those exist, he's being a little facetious. He's trying to make fun of you. The contributors around here get a little sick of people making requests like yours, sorry they're so mean but I don't think you're request is all that realistic.
It was a joke. What I'm trying to make clear is that there is a heap of effort involved in creating even the simplest 'update' to any game when you're bringing it into a new engine. Saying "it will be much easier" holds little value when it is still an immense project.
I just though it would be interesting, i would be helping with skywind but i have little to no equipment and experience, i can't even open skywind on the creation kit to do clutter, so all i can do is give ideas. and by much easier i mean redguard is so small the only major wall i can think of is mechanics
yeah well the mechanics isn't the only thing to do.
You see skyrims engine doesn't have plat forming support and no matter how you mod it, it never will.
Also theres the cut scenes, they can take up to months to animate.

Because when i try and load skywind it crashes, people say i need a stripped skyrim.esm but no matter what combination i try to loan it, it just crashes
So why not learn CKing (without skywind) in the mean time till someone can help you instead of posting ideas, because mate I gotta tell you that we've already heard a quadrillion ideas and we almost heard this idea for about a million times. Ideas and suggestions are welcome at this site (that's why we have the suggestion forum) but as a whole they hardly help the project
There are projects currently that try to make Fallout 1 and 2 from scratch on the New Vegas engine. It's heavily WIP though.
Morrowind and Oblivion are ported over to Skyrim, using an automated converter and then there's hard work actually restoring everything else that the converter doesn't convert. As well as making the landscapes and models to 2014 standards.
The converters are possible due to the similar base engine that the game shares. If it's not on Gamebryo, a converter would be at very best very challenging.
I'm afraid to say red guard would be almost impossible with skyrims engine. Even with mods it just wouldn't work
By 'we' you mean the devs? Right? The ones who have to do actual work? And not the ones who just provide vague and unrealistic ideas?
Sure, sounds easy.
Can this be locked?
