Dragonborn DLC was made for Skywind?

Bethesda could have done anything for their last Skyrim DLC but they chose Solstheim. Do you think one of the reasons they chose to go back there was to give the Skywind team more Morrowind resources?

Of course it wouldn't have been the primary reason. I know it maybe a stretch, as far as i know, Bethesda knows about this project, maybe they wanted to indirectly help you guys out

Not really, I mean how does

Not really, I mean how does DB Solstheim really even help us apart from a couple of ideas like basalt columns?

That's a conspiracy theory if

That's a conspiracy theory if I've ever seen one.

Maybe Bethesda created Dragonborn as an epic continuation to Skyrim while paying homage to one of their best, and most acclaimed games without ever ONCE thinking about this project. But you know, that's way too logical to be true.

Actually by UCLA you cant

Actually by UCLA you cant distribute DLC assets as in theory that means that owners of Skyrim can use the assets without needing to purchase the extra content...so no.

I think this was marketing

I think this was marketing strategy plan,
Huge % of Elderscrolls gamers are Oblivion and Morrowind lovers, companies don't only seek new customers but trying to keep old as friends also heh.

Yeah, I agree with

Yeah, I agree with DaedricLord. I mean, to be honest, it was a good DLC - not great like SI but it was still very decent and it did pretty much have that "Morrowind vibe" and the easter eggs were cool.

Dragonborn was definetly a

Dragonborn was definetly a DLC made to appease the die-hard Morrowind fans, represented by our project too. That's the only realy connection we can speak of :P
